We can be confident about Singapore’s future though there are dark clouds around us. Because of our prudence in the good years, we have enough resources to see us through the lean years. We will continue to invest for the future such as a fourth university, better health care, better public transport system, and of course, more arts and cultural programmes. We can create a brighter future and a better home with more exciting opportunities for all.
